The shoot of Andor, a prequel to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, has wrapped up in August 2021, taking place at London's Pinewood Studios and across the UK. The show, which was confirmed by Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy during Disney's Investor Day in December 2020, is expected to be released sometime in 2022.

According to IBR, the Walt Disney Company's most recent update for investors gave Andor a release date window of fourth quarter, 2022. This means fans can expect to see the show between July and September 2022.

Diego Luna, who plays Cassian Andor, confirmed in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel in November 2020 that production had started after some Covid-19-related delays. The show is a spy story focusing on the exploits of intelligence operative Cassian Andor, played by Rogue One's Diego Luna.

Joining Luna are an all-star cast including Adria Arjona, Stellan Skarsgård, Fiona Shaw, Robert Emms, Denise Gough and Kyle Soller. Genevieve O'Reilly also reprises her role as Mon Mothma.

Andor is a prequel to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which tells the story of a group of rebels who steal the Death Star plans. With its focus on espionage and intelligence operations, Andor promises to deliver action-packed thrills and exciting adventures in the Star Wars universe.
